Beyonce Single Ladies Video Contest Will Get You $2,500!!

I was wondering why Beyonce hasn't done a contest. I'm so glad that she is. It isn't easy recreating Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video. Trust. Heh.

Beyoncé is inviting her fans to create their own versions of her phenomenal "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" clip for the official "Single Ladies" dance video contest.

Contestants should adhere precisely to the iconic "Single Ladies" dance routine performed by Beyoncé and her two dancers in the original clip - no new choreography should be added.

The grand prize winner of Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" dance video contest will receive $2500.00 (US) and have the winning video shown during Beyoncé's "I Am..." World Tour 2009.

Beyonce Sings Obamas' First Dance Song, At Last

Beyonce's "At Last" rendition is so moving and beautiful. The married 27-year-old singer volunteered to perform at Barack Obama's inauguration party and the President-Elect is allowing her to do just that for the very coveted first dance performance.

Beyonce says,
"I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady. To sing 'At Last' while they have their first dance is a dream come true," says the Grammy-award winner. "I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."

Beyonce World Tour With Solange Knowles Performing

Solange Knowles has been riding Beyonce's coattails, appearing in L'Oreal commercials alongside her sis and doing all she can to be semi-relevant in an industry that rather watch her wipe Beyonce's nose and hold her umbrella.

Solange will be going on tour with her superstar sistah. Hmmm, anyone know what her sister's name is? Shhhhh..... we're not supposed to say "Beyonce" when mentioning Solange.

Beyoncé will embark on a 110-date world tour that will begin in April 2009. Discussions are under way for Solange to join her big sis’ on tour. After seeing the elder Knowles rock arenas, fans would be able to go to a more intimate location and watch Solange perform at an official “after-party.” Specific details have yet to be announced.

Beyoncé is scheduled to release her third album I Am… on November 18th, while Solange’s sophomore release SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams is available now.

Beyonce Stalker Arrested

Police say a Detroit-area man was arrested after driving erratically and nearly hitting a police car, saying Beyonce was waiting to meet him. Officers say a 33-year-old Michigan man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Police said he nearly hit a police car early Sunday, asked the officer for directions to Detroit, then drove over a sidewalk and grassy area.

A police spokesman said the man -- who had flowers and teddy bear in the car -- also asked if the officers were escorting him to New York City, saying the singer agreed to meet him at the George Washington Bridge.

The man was charged with reckless driving, speeding and other traffic offenses.

He is scheduled to appear Nov. 4 in Milford Superior Court.
