Jennifer Hudson's national anthem Super Bowl performance will be the first time Jennifer Hudson hits the stage since her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew were brutally murdered last fall.

On Feb. 6, five days later, JHud will perform at a Grammys' MusiCares event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Jennifer is also up for four Grammys.

Reading about this story made me feel so warm and fuzzy, and I know I'm not alone. I'm so happy that Jennifer has been given space to grieve. It seems like the media has really allowed her to have her moments. She's done everything right, taking time off and getting back into the game when she's ready. I can not wait for her Super Bowl performance. I'll probably be screaming my lungs out cheering at the TV as if she can hear me.

William Balfour Shot and Killed the Hudsons, Finally Arrested

William Balfour, was arrested Monday in the slayings of the Oscar winner's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.

Balfour, 27, who is separated from Hudson's sister, Julia, was arrested in the first-degree murders of Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, brother Jason Hudson, 29, and his own stepson, Julian King, 7.

The bodies of Donerson and Hudson were found shot to death Oct. 24.

The body of King, Julia's son, was found three days later in the backseat of Jason's abandoned Chevrolet Suburban parked 10 miles from the family's home. All died from gunshot wounds.

Julia needs to be questioned, too. I so don't trust her fugly ass. May justice be served as quickly as possible.

"My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern."

Jennifer Hudson expressed her heartfelt gratitude Thursday for the public support she's received since last month's tragic loss of her mother, brother and nephew.

And, in true star form, the show will go on. Hudson recently gave her blessing to a scheduled appearance in Gap's seasonal ad campaign, according to E! Online.

Jennifer Hudson Hiding, Jennifer Hudson Living at Trump Towers for Free

The real-estate mogul has been housing Jennifer Hudson and some of her relatives at the Trump International Hotel & Tower free of charge.

“She’s a great girl. And we’re protecting them well,” Trump told PEOPLE at a benefit honoring Australia director Baz Luhrman at the Museum of Modern Art Monday night. “They are very safe.”

Hudson has been seeking refuge at the Trump holding since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago on Oct. 24.

You know security at Trump Towers is up to par! It's not like Mr. Trump is in dire need of an image makeover, he didn't have to reach out like this and I'm sure the Hudson family greatly appreciates his kindness. :)

William Balfour Murdered Hudson Family, Girlfriend Confesses

William Balfour told his current girlfriend he was involved in the murders of Hudson's mother and brother.

Balfour's girlfriend in turn told police what he told her. The Tribune also cites sources saying Balfour "acknowledged being at Hudson's Englewood home" on the morning Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were shot to death inside, and Jen's nephew was abducted and later killed.

It's very likely that William Balfour, Julia Hudson's husband, is involved in the Hudson murders. However, what concerns me is that Julia has still not been questioned and I hope William's girlfriend has an alias and protection, if not, bitch is fucked!

Justice needs to be served.

Hudson Family Funeral Pics, Photos

The Oscar-winning actress spent a few moments at the caskets of her brother and nephew, and gently touched the body of her mother before leaning down to kiss her, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Toward the end of the service, American Idol season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino sang a rousing rendition of the gospel classic "Your Grace and Mercy," grasping Hudson's hand.

As mourners including Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah and music producer Clive Davis left Chicago’s Apostolic Church of God, Jennifer, 27, joined in the chorus of the recessional, "I Go to the Rock," a longtime family friend told PEOPLE.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley attended the service. After the funeral, a horse-drawn carriage led the procession to the cemetery.

Hudson Family Memorial Set For Monday

A private memorial service will be held early next week for the mother, brother and nephew of Jennifer Hudson, who were shot to death in Chicago.

The Hudson Funeral Home announced the service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Church of God, according to the Chicago Tribune.

On Friday, a rep from the funeral home will announce if the family will hold a public service, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to a newly created Hudson-King Domestic Violence Protection Fund, care of Seaway Bank
and Trust, P.O. Box 19522, Chicago, IL, 60619.

William Balfour, the ex-husband of Hudson's sister, Julia, is being held as a "person of interest" in the case. Chicago Police say the murders are "domestic-related."

Jennifer Hudson feels that her life is threatened. She is no longer living at home, but at a hotel instead with multiple security guards.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson may be worried about her own safety. Chilling new details on how Hudson in hiding and surrounding herself with security guards.

“I can’t disclose where Jennifer is staying — I can just tell you it’s a hotel. She has bodyguards… and the hotel she’s staying at has a great security team.”

According to recent reports, it's believed that William had an accomplice at least drive him to his girlfriend's house after the murders. Jennifer is probably fearful of not just William's alleged accomplice, but anyone connected to that a-hole. I want the police to find the killers and get this whole mess wrapped up immediately. Of course Julia wants to believe that she's innocent, but she's not. She allowed a convicted felon who served 7 years on an attempted murder charge into the home she shared with her mother and son! If she wants to be a ghetto hood rat, fine, but she should not have brought that shit home to her family.

Morbidly obese Julia Hudson took to her MySpace to update her "about me" section. It previously described her loving family before the tragic events.

"When I started my MySpace all of the above was true, now because I chose to do what was natural to me and love someone, it cost me my beautiful family.

"It cost me my beautiful, loving, supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason - I love you baby – and last but not never least, my only son Julian, my innocent baby... [Julian's] soul is at ease. I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother and most of all the Lord, and now he's my angel, he's protecting me."

Everyday she will regret these murders and probably marrying such a loser. Men usually don't kill their estranged wife's family over car payments, but I hope the Hudson tragedy makes other women realize sometimes it's better to be alone than to be with trash just so that you can say you have a man. Not worth it.

I hope I don't sound too harsh or insensitive. This will always be a tragedy and Julia is not to blame but she is a factor.

And Jennifer Hudson's fiance, Punk from I Love New York, changed his MySpace profile name to the following: PLEASE HELP US FIND JULIAN KING. HELP & PRAY. Outta respect, maybe you should log on and update that, buddy.

The 27-year-old parolee had been thrown out of the Hudson home before, and Julia says he'd threatened to harm the family, and kill Julia if she ever had any other boyfriends.

Balfour is being held at Stateville Correctional Center for violating his parole. One of his girlfriends contradicted his alibi and told cops he was involved in the slayings on Friday.

Police are also looking into the possibility that Balfour involved someone else in the crime.

Julian King Body, Julian King Dead of Multiple Gunshots

The body was discovered "in the rear seat" of a white Chevrolet Suburban on Chicago's West Side Monday morning, according to the Chicago Police Department. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to reports.

Police have identified the body of a young boy discovered in an SUV in Chicago as Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew Julian King, police Supt. Jody Weis said Monday.

Immediately following the news of the body's discovery, Hudson's family members organized a church vigil. Several family members visited the medical examiner's office Monday afternoon.

King, 7, went missing Friday after an unidentified assailant fatally shot Hudson's mother Darnell and brother Jason. Over the weekend, Hudson offered $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew.

The Chicago Tribune reports that bullet casings were found in the boy's room on Friday.

Police Find Julian King's Body in Jason Hudson's Missing SUV

Jennifer Hudson's 7-year-old nephew Julian King's body has been found in Jason Hudson's missing SUV.

The body of a young black boy was discovered Monday in an SUV as police continued their search for Jennifer Hudson's missing 7-year-old nephew.

The white SUV was found abandoned on Chicago's West Side, CNN reports. Police have not yet identified the body.

Julian King, 7, went missing Friday after an unidentified assailant fatally shot Hudson's mother Darnell and brother Jason. Hudson offered $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew. When police issued an Amber Alert for Julian on Friday, they identified a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859 as connected to the case.

Neighbors say the vehicle has been parked there since Saturday. Balfour was arrested Friday night.

The SUV has been towed with the body still inside the vehicle. The SUV is now at a police garage in Chicago.

May poor Julian R.I.P., the Hudson family stay strong, and may the killer(s) be sentenced to life in prison or death. So sad.

Jennifer Hudson Mother Darnell Hudson Shot Dead, Brother Jason Hudson Shot in Chest, Disturbing Details

Jennifer's brother Jason Hudson was found fatally shot in the bedroom. There was no sign of forced entry. The deaths appear to be the result of domestic abuse. Jennifer was in Florida at the time of the incident. She had been scheduled to appear at the Hollywood Awards on Monday for an ensemble cash honor for "The Secret Life of Bees."

A suspect in the shooting deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother is in custody and is being questioned. The Oscar-winning actress' nephew was not with the suspect.

Court records show Balfour pleaded guilty in 1999 to attempted murder and vehicular hijacking. He also was convicted in a 1998 case of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, the records show.

The victims were found unresponsive at about 2:45 p.m. inside a two-story white home near West 70th Street and South Yale Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood.

The home was owned by Hudson's 57-year-old mother.

Although Balfour is now in custody, TMZ reports that he's being uncooperative and refuses to give any information.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Jennifer's missing nephew, Julian King.

King is black and has brown eyes and black hair. He is 5 feet tall and weighs 135 pounds.

Earlier in the day, police said they suspected that King was with Balfour in a white Chevy Suburban with license plate: X58-4859 which is registered to Jason Hudson. Now it's confirmed that Jennifer's nephew was not with the suspect.

Lost in all this is Jennifer's sister Julia, mother of the missing 7-year-old. We're told she works as a bus driver in Chicago. Her employer told us she worked her shift today. She hasn't been seen since.

UPDATE 9:20 PM ET: A WBBM reporter is saying that neighbors have said a family member in the Hudson household apparently tried to steal a car a few weeks ago, an argument ensued, and he vowed revenge. A photo on Julia's MySpace page (bottom) posted prior to today's events alludes to some kind of dispute with William over a car.

And for those commenting that Jennifer's mom should have lived in a nicer home and neighborhood, Us magazine reports:

Neighbor Angela Russell describes Darnell as a woman who had barbecues at her home.

"She was very kind and very social. She was extremely proud of her daughter but she didn’t let it go to her head. She refused to move out of the neighborhood, she wanted to stay here, this was her home."
