Lesbian Queen Latifah Still in the Closet

For whatever reason Queen Latifah is uncomfortable with coming out of the closet and admitting she's a lesbian. Why?!!! How would that affect her career? Would anyone even care at all? Hollywood needs her to stand up, me thinks. She would be a great role model for the LBGT community.

"I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life. You don't get that part of me. Sorry.

"We’re not discussing it in our meetings, we’re not discussing it at Cover Girl...nobody gets that. I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."

Is it just me, or does this sound like a coming out statement? She's clearly doing the Clay Aiken, no confirmation, no denial = queer as folk. Be proud, Ms. Queen lady.
