Heath Ledger's sister and former Perth publicist, Kate Ledger, has cleared up recent rumours about her younger brother's impending nuptials to his partner, Michelle Williams.Not getting married? Maybe they'll last longer.
The Brokeback Mountain Oscar nominees were spotted picking up a marriage licence in Brooklyn, New York last week.
Until now, representatives for the notoriously private couple have refused to confirm the wedding rumours.
But when asked if the couple were in fact engaged, Ms Ledger replied with an emphatic, “No, they’re not”. The couple have a one-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose.
