Rosie O'Donnell started a bitchfight with fellow morning-diva Kelly Ripa when she accused Ripa of making a "homophobic" remark. From where I sit as a blogger, Rosie's pathetic. If Rosie can speak for every lesbian, than I can speak for every blogger. Her ass needs to get fired from The View immediately!!!
O'Donnell said that Ripa was "homophobic" for her scolding of Aiken when he co-hosted her show the other day and playfully put his hand over her mouth, prompting Ripa to snap,
"I don't know where that hand has been." Rosie suggested that if Aiken had been a "straight guy, a cute guy" or, for instance, Mario Lopez, Ripa wouldn't have made the same remark. (Aiken, of course, has never said anything publicly about his sexuality.)
Ripa was incensed enough to call into the show immediately, firing back that Rosie's accusation was "outrageous" and "irresponsible" and that Ripa made the remark last Friday because it was "cold and flu season" and that Aiken had shaken the hands of the studio audience.
Rosie wasn't buying it, and in acknowledging that she admires Ripa, said that "from where I sit" as an openly gay woman, Ripa's response was homophobic.
Too bad she's so entertaining.

Rosie needs to go. She was awesome until this. In my eyes she went down in flames today. Get her off the view. What a trainwreck she can be
ReplyDeleteTrue.
ReplyDeleteWhen you think of how loud, vulgar and obnoxious Rosie is, if someone put their hand over Rosie's mouth, she would start to holler and have them removed from the stage by security.
Kelly on the other hand simply said, "That's a no-no."
First of all, I totally love Rosie, and Kelly. Clay was being a smartass for the whole R&K show. Then he put his hand on her mouth! She was offended and grossed out, and it had absolutely nothing to do with his or her sexual orientation.
ReplyDeleteI think he was trying too hard to fit in. Somebody backstage probably told him to "flip her shit, and she likes that" He just took it too far... because he is inexperienced.. That's all. He didn't mean to offend Kelly, and Kelly was not offended because he may or may not be gay.
Rosie, has been bringing this gay thing up too much. I don't know what she's trying to accomplish? Perhaps she has herself on such a high pedastl that somehow her comments might make everybody embrace her lifestyle.
Love Rosie, and Kelly too... But Rosie brings too much homo to the show... she brings it up too much...
Rosie, stop it....
quite frankly rosie is losing it in my opinion if that had have been R she would have smacked his hand away its not somthing most of us enjoy having done to us especially when we really dont know the person doing it
ReplyDeleterosie needs to relax and get off her high horse
