Lionel Richie is desperate for his daughter NICOLE to settle down and marry Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney.
The crooner is convinced Clooney would be great for the former tearaway.
He says, "George would be a good influence on Nicole. He's a dependable fatherly kind of guy. Plus he owns a house in Italy that I almost bought and I've love to see inside it."
