Nadya Suleman appeared on the Today Show for a video interview with Ann Curry where she answered the tough questions and answered with nothing but lies. She's no marytr. Nadya is an unfit mother and money hungry opportunist!
On not being able to afford her fourteen kids:
“I know I'll be able to afford them when I'm done with my schooling. If I was just sitting down watching TV and not being as determined as I am to succeed and provide a better future for my children, I believe that would be considered, to a certain degree, selfish.”

ReplyDeleteIf you have visited the RadarOnline website where pix of her mother's house, as well as a video of her Mom speaking is on view, then you will clearly see that this situation is unmanageable. Nadya is clearly unbalanced. She just keeps bringing innocent little babies into the world; yet she has no job or no means of support. It's horrible that her mother and father have to bear the burden of raising, and supporting the 6 children she ALREADY has; much less the 8 newborns that she will be bringing home. The 'HOME" that she now lives in can't contain that many people. Already, it is a mess.

situation.
This woman is ridiculous! She and her doctor should be investigated! The state of california can add a few million dollars to their debt now thanks to this woman! They should put the same restrictions on IVF as they do adoptions! This is a prime example why!
ReplyDeleteThis is a travesty! Three of Nadya's children already receive SSI. How many of the octuplets will have developmental delays? Sounds like Nadya knows how to work the system. She won't take welfare because she's found a better source of money from us taxpayers. She is unstable and these babies should not be allowed to stay with her. She's going to now take out student loans and go back to school and use the money to raise her family. HUH!? Are you kidding me! The doctor at this clinic should be investigated. I know this is VERY politically incorrect and flies in the face of civil rights but these babies should be put up for adoption to families who have the means and are unable to conceive. What about the babies civil rights?
ReplyDeleteQuite obviously this woman acts contrary to the best interest of the very children she produces and should be invetigated by Child Protective Services for parental fitness.
ReplyDeleteIt has been discovered that Suleman is on welfare and the hospital is seeking state-aide for the children (so the Suleman is not beyond lying to get her way).
Suleman states that "all she wanted is to have children"... yet it seems that the natural order of things has evaded her.
Once upon a time, women who want children would go to school FIRST, then meet a suitable husband and settle down to the joyous task of bringing forth a family.
Now we have flat broke women incapable of engaging in an adult relationship, spending other people's money on fertility treatment and lip enhancement plastic surgeory in order to go on TV and explain why everyone should applaud her for queezing out an artificial brood.
AND THEN, when asked about the logic of it all - Suleman explains that she will NOW go to school and find an earning suitable of raising 14 children.
Evidently, in spite of her impecable reasoning skills, Ms. Suleman has missed the point that there are Ph.D.'s flipping burgers right now, while they search for the perfect career (= job that pays right).
I hope the taxpayers are somehow relieved of this selfish, self-centered nut's financial burdens by tapping the $ she receives on her obnoxious website. She even takes credit cards!
ReplyDeleteI watched the interview of this woman and I was furious! I don't care what she says or asserts! Bottom line is that hard-working tax payers end up picking up the tab.

Mostly though, I feel sad for the children. What kind of life are they going to have with this woman. Worse, what kind of value system will they be taught?
Don't act so surprised. This kind of thing happens every day all over America. There are very few self respecting people left in the world who actually follow the rules. Go to your local supermarket and sit for about one hour and you will come to the realization that everyone gets foodstamps, even people who are as capable of working as you or me. The people who don't work eat better than those of us who do (I work every day and still can't afford to buy steaks). On top of all this one must consider why a woman who already has children on Medicaid, should be allowed to continue to have more children. I'm nearly thirty and I still haven't had children because I'm not financially stable enough (or so I believe). Yet I know women who have several children (all of which are on medicaid, WIC, and foodstamps). I'm paying for everyone else to have children and may never be able to afford to have any myself. Is that fair?
ReplyDeleteNadya is an intelligent woman and does not deserve all of the negative effects the media is giving her. Even her own MOTHER does not appear to be very supportive of her but only supportive of her grandshildren. If she wants to have a lof of children it should be her individual decision. America is so stuck in its cliches and stereotypes. If anything Nadya should be admired for her motivation, love and continuous strive to fulfill her own aspirations. Clearly she is making it-granted with the help of others. But she IS making it and IS able to provide for her children. It is wrong and rude of America and media to pry into this woman's and these children's lives.
