She's also on welfare and is seeking donations.
In a Dateline interview Nadya addresses this:
“I have never even thought of Angelina Jolie except the last time I saw a movie. I think that was like years ago. This is so far away from the place I’m in right now to think of any celebrity.”The mother of fourteen also denies claims that she had plastic surgery or lip injections. Personally I think it doesn't matter. She will never be like Angelina. The actress may have a hoard of kids, but she also has the means to take care of them. Nadya can't support her children. She has no job. She has no home. She's so selfish. Uh it makes me so angry.

Let us remember that our country is at war in Iraq, and at here in USA we seem pre-occupied with Nadya Suleman, a prime example of overindulgance and overinflated sense of self entitlement.
ReplyDeleteNadya Suleman is Iraqi, so maybe her family oversees will be able to help with some of the expense. Perhaps some of her family back home will have jobs waiting for the 6 boys in her latest brood.

Everybody has a right to reproduce. And everybody has a right to help others; if somebody wants to help her, then go ahead. BUT...Nobody has the right to force another to help someone else! Fuck this government for forcing the taxpayers to support her and her litter!
ReplyDeleteThere is a simple solution. She, and she alone, is responsible for her actions. Just as I, and I alone, are responsible for my actions. She should not get any money from the governemtn. And if any of her children die, it is completely by her own negligence; her own actions. We ought to ostracize her from society and let her fend for herself. This is the natural course of action. Fuck bleeding-heart Americans who think it's their responsibility to interfere with everyone else to control how they should live. Banish this bitch from any help. Pure and simple; natural.

ReplyDeleteI find it ridiculous that anyone would say she should be ostracized for what she did. And frankly it's ignorant to say she is the next master mind terrorist. I don't agree with her actions nor do I condone them. However the fact remains that she was said to be mentally ill and people who suffer from such are not always able to make rational decisions . A lot is to be said for the Doctor who had a hand in this unfortunate event. And I think we all should remember that although it should be her responsibility to care for her children on her own, it's not her who we are helping it's those innocent children who had no choice to be put into this situation. Don't hold the children responsible for the mistakes of their mother or the selfish stupidity of the doctor who could have put a stop to it long ago.
ReplyDeleteNobody is being forced to care for or help this family. We would still have the same amount of money coming out of our taxes if she had no children at all. There are plenty of other women having baby after baby to stay on welfare. I have a full time job and get medicaid for my child because my job doesn't offer insurance and I don't make a lot of money. We also have to borrow money for food sometimes. And before anyone can think it I'm a college graduate Sum ma Cum Laude and I still have a crappy paying job. Should I be left to fend for myself because the government isn't responsible for me? Everyone needs help from time to time. Nadya's help should have come in the form of a psychological intervention before she was aloud to go through with this procedure.

Well since you like to correct people *shopping trip* is two words not one. And how would you know how much she spends on lip gloss or how often she goes food shopping. I hope you don't get your information from what you read or see on television. Any intelligent person would know that the media isn't always truthful. I don't know if you have kids of your own but a $500 a month grocery budget for 6 kids buys about a weeks worth of food. Who the hell cares how many kids she has or what she does with her time and money. It is an unfortunate situation but nobody has much to say about the Doctor that has lined his pockets with her money and put her in this situation. She obviously has issues and should never have been ALLOWED to have this procedure in the first place. Maybe she should exploit her children like "John and Kate" and their brood. Then she could live in a big fancy house with maids and nanny's and gardeners. They would be living off the government if they didn't land a sweet television show. So give the lady a break remember she couldn't have had any of these kids on her own so she isn't completely to blame. And seriously get over yourself.
ReplyDeletefor the record...families no longer get more "welfare" money when they have more kids. There are time limits for the families getting welfare money...they have to work full time after 6 months of giving birth...and can only receive aid for 5 years total. The welfare money does not increase when more children are born. Also, the laws are changing to reflect shorter time periods and less cash-aid for growing families...it is hard to feed 6 kids on 500 a month, but seriously...americans over-spend on boxed and frozen foods, pizza, prepared foods, etc that spending 500 in a week would be about right. I have a family of 3 and we eat fresh organic vegetables, fruits and grains everyday...we eat chicken, fish and tofu 3-4 times a week...we eat well and plenty for about 350 per month...those of you spending that much per week should look into meal planning on a budget, unless of course you like throwing your money away on crap food.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the new Welfare laws, I personally think that any woman on Welfare should be required to go up to her local health clinic every month and take a shot of birth control. And if a month goes by that she doesn't do that, then she doesn't get her check for that month. Because it's selfish and irresponsible to bring children into the world if you aren't financially stable enough to take care of yourself, let alone others. What Nadya did was bullshit. It doesn't matter that she only thought she'd be having one extra child and not eight. She shouldn't have been allowed even one more. She already had six that she couldn't take care of! The doctor is just as much to blame, but that doesn't mean that EQUAL blame shouldn't fall upon her. She thinks that everyone owes her because of her choice. Never once, in any of her many interviews do you hear her say "This is MY doing. I need to step up and take responsibility for MY actions. NOBODY owes ME. And it's not up to ANYBODY else to take care of me and wipe my ass." Those kids need to go up for adoption and she needs to be commited. Plain and simple.
