Dakota Fanning in New Moon will Play Jane, Dakota Fanning Jane

Peoples Choice Awards Arrivals

Dakota Fanning did not have to audition to play Jane in Twilight sequel New Moon because she was offered the role. Dakota Fanning is currently in negotiations to play one of the deadliest vampires in the world, a role she is made for with her already crimson eyes. The 15-year-old is perfect for this. Please make this work, people!

New Moon is scheduled to begin filming in March.

    I think it would be great if Dakota Fanning plays Jane. Doesn't Jane have black hair tho? Tho it wouldn't be much of a problem with it. I was just wondering... :)

    they can always dyed her hair black so i don't think that's even an issue. and yes, i do hope this works out to cuz i just adored her as jane

    i think dakota does not fit the description of jane...jane is supposed to be even shorter than alice...and i am also glad she isnt leah...that role just didnt work for vanessa...

    i hvae never thought of her as jane and never will. i saw someone else and at the moment cannot think of her name that tried out for the role and i think she would fit jane perfect but dakota will just steal the spotlight from the others because when twilight first came out we had never heard of the actors names
