With the largest jump to No. 1 in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, Maroon 5 scores its first chart-topper as "Makes Me Wonder" soars 64-1.
The move was fueled by digital sales of 243,500 downloads and a No. 1 debut on Hot Digital Songs. Kelly Clarkson held the previous record for the largest jump to No. 1 on the Hot 100 when she moved 52-1 with "A Moment Like This" in October 2002.
Also, Carrie Underwood's "I'll Stand by You" is the chart's top debut at No. 6. The track is the first iTunes exclusive to ever open in the top 10; it was drawn from last week's "American Idol Gives Back" special.
That reminds me I need to get Maroon 5's album on iTunes so I can be a part of their tour presale. I LOVE these guys! So excited.
