Chris Sligh Says He Didn't Want To Win American Idol

Chris Sligh is proving he's a sore loser by claiming he wanted to quit American Idol after the judges didn't like his rendition of "Endless Love."

He says he only stayed in so he can make money going on tour this summer as one of the Top Ten.
In an interview with his hometown paper, the Greenville, S.C. News, Sligh says he never really wanted to be the American Idol.

"I never came into this wanting to win it. I made the Top Ten. That was my goal,"
says the big-haired Sligh, who many observers pointed out bears a striking resemblance to "The Simpsons'" Sideshow Bob.
Chris says he stayed on the show because he was told that he couldn't go on tour if he wasn't part of the Top Ten. He got the boot two weeks later.

Ungrateful are we, or just a sore loser trying to save face? Either way, this season of American Idol is an absolute joke and if Chris thinks he's making himself sound like a dedicated singer that record labels should sign, he's a dork.

He's just making up some lies because he can't believe Sanjaya's still there and his curls are gone. I'm a fanjaya.
