SIZE-ZERO models could sue if they’re banned from the catwalk, it was claimed yesterday.Maybe if they chewed on something other than sugar free gum and were like at least a size two, they wouldn't have to worry about people banning their bones on the runway.
The fashion industry is thinking of forcing agencies to shun ultra-thin girls in favour of larger models.
But experts say banning skinny girls could be illegal and would prompt some to sue for discrimination. Agency boss Melissa Richardson, who represents Jasmine Guinness, said: "Lots of models eat a lot and stay thin. They do not deserve to be pilloried."
